QUEST MODE README

============================================================

Description:

Quest mode is accessed by holding Start when selecting Leo.
This mode allows Leo to gain experience as be battles, to
grow stronger and gain additional weapons and techniques. At
first, he starts of only with the Old Sword and Old Shield,
and his only techniques are Chronos Rush, Mars Slash, and
Hercules Rush. He will eventually gain all the techniques he
normally has, plus permanent use of the Legendary Sword and
Shield. His defense and attack will also increase with each
experience level gained.

Experience (XP) is gained in 3 ways:

     1.	Succesfully connecting with an attack. Blocked or
traded hits don't count. There are different XP
	bonuses for different attacks.

     2.	Comboing. Each hit in a combo causes a coin to
drop, which may be picked up for more XP. The value
of the coin depends on the number of hits in the
combo. Use sweeping attacks to pick up any hard to
	reach coins.

     3. Winning a round. You will then recieve a small bonus
for any power remaining, a larger bonus for time
remaining, and the largest bonuses for remaining
life and the type of finishing blow. You will also
be shown any new weapons or techniques you have
	acquired.

Note that if Leo is chosen after being defeated and choosing
to Continue, you may have to readjust his level to its
previous value by pressing Up or Down at the beginning of
the match. If you have acquired any Elemental Swords (see
below), they may be lost or replaced with new ones,
depending on the level you are continuing from.

Earning the Elemental Swords:

To acquire these weapons, you must be at level 16 or higher
and defeat the opponent with the Fire, Ice, or Thunder
Mystic Breaks to get the respective sword.

Default Settings:

The default settings are loosely based on an Arcade run that
is 8 matches long, with 2 rounds minimum per match.
Depending on your Mugen settings, you may have to adjust the
XP needed per level for a better play session. You may also
want to tweak the Attack and Defence bonuses to fit your
roster of opponents.
